Thread requires attention span of greater than 15 seconds so is doomed.
Interestingly enough, there was a broadcast on the Vine show about addiction to online games about 3 or 4 years ago which resulted in me getting hooked on eve. Am looking forward to getting addicted to trolling now.

If the next person on the forum called me a homosexual pedophillic rapist who jacks off to videos of women swallowing babies whole whilst being defecated on with Rick Ashley playing in the back ground. I wouldn't give a toss because it's the internet, nobody should give it any thought.
Now if someone got on a newspaper and did the same thing I'd be ****ed, because it's a credible source.
Thats the difference, credibility, the internet has none.

(As regards to the first part) Anyways it seems to me that online arguments are just parsed down to their basic essence as quickly as possible . Just because you'd probably get more benefit from licking a sidewalk doesn't mean seeing their faces would magically fix it. What would she do if they were saying it face to face anyways? Beat them down? Rather she'd probably consider them insane, why should that change just cause it's on-line?
Anyways if that were on a forum it would go like this:
Woman: Waaaahhhhhh your arguments are illegitimate cause I can't see who you are.
Man: Well not really, you just have to see what's what. That's what free speech is all about.
Mr. Vines: The forums are teh evil, re: Third Reich.
Everyone: Repeat ad nauseaum.

People like that woman make me very afraid.
If you are surprised by the venom and utter ******ation in YouTube comments, you've obviously not been on the web for more than a few months. Youtube uploaders are also able to disallow commenting, meaning that the example she pulled is completely meaningless and only serves to highlight her stupidity and that of the people she were trying to protect.
Tabloid media is far more frightening than anonymous internet comments, as the level of drivel is about the same but people actually listens to the former.
To conclude, I hope she dies (in game).
